Following in her mother's footsteps? Princess Charlotte stunned in a dark blue dress covered in white polka dots when she stood alongside her father, William, at the UEFA European Women's Football Championship final.
The heir to the throne was watching the England team play Spain with his middle daughter and the moment, as expected, did not go unnoticed.
But it wasn't just Princess Charlotte's presence that stood out. The little girl's look also caught the eye, as she chose a dress very similar to one previously worn by her mother, Kate Middleton.
In addition to the blue dress with white polka dots, ruffled sleeves, and a bow at the front, Charlotte's look was completed with white Mary Jane shoes and a white coat. This look quickly led the international press to recall a dress with the same pattern that Kate Middleton wore at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.
Three years ago, the Princess of Wales stood out at the tennis tournament in a long blue dress covered in white polka dots by Alessandra Rich, paired with dark, pointed-toe white shoes. The dress also featured a sailor collar with a bow at the front and gathered shoulders.

People also highlights that polka dots are a must-have pattern in Kate Middleton's collection. The Princess of Wales has worn this style several times, especially at the tennis tournament.
In 2021, for example, she wore a blue skirt with white polka dots. She completed the look with a white blouse and a blue blazer.

A year later, Princess Charlotte appeared in a similar look. The then-seven-year-old appeared in a video her father, William, recorded to support the England women's national football team, and in the images, Charlotte wears a blue polka-dot outfit.

But it's not just polka dots that make mother and daughter dress alike. Also on July 13th, Princess Charlotte wore a white dress with blue details, designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy. The piece was reminiscent of a look Kate Middleton wore in July 2022 at the Royal Charity Polo Cup. See the record below:

It is also worth mentioning that Sarah Burton was the designer behind the wedding dress that Kate Middleton wore at her wedding to William in 2011.
