Meet the participants of 'Estrela da Casa', Globo's musical reality show

Meet the participants of 'Estrela da Casa', Globo's musical reality show

The second season of "Estrela da Casa," Globo's musical reality show, is scheduled to premiere on Saturday (25), at 10:30 pm (Brasília time). The program, which returns after modest audience results in the previous edition, will once again feature Ana Clara Lima as the host. The novelty this time is the presence of singer Michel Teló as a permanent mentor for the 14 participants.

Throughout the competition, the confined singers will share the stage weekly in musical performances called "Festivals." Each episode will feature evaluations by a technical panel, as well as interaction with the audience, which will play a decisive role in the eliminations. The winner will receive R$1 million, in addition to a record deal, tour, and artistic management.

Camille Vitória, a resident of the Buraco Quente community in São João de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro, is one of the new program's hopefuls. At 22, she balances the beginning of her music career with her recent graduation in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She highlights family support as crucial to her participation in the program.

Another confirmed name is Ruama Feitosa, 27, known for her irreverent style and intense personality. A native of São Paulo, she has appeared in television reports and is banking on sertanejo to win over audiences. Brenno Casagrande, meanwhile, represents MPB (Brazilian Popular Music). A native of Bahia, he is the son of a former member of Olodum and has had compositions recorded by renowned names in Brazilian music.

Among the gospel artists are Daniel Sobral, who left Pará to study in Minas Gerais, and Thainá Gonçalves, who began her musical career as a child. "I want to change a world. Maybe someone's world," Thainá stated, commenting on her motivation.

Sudário, a pagode veteran with over 20 years of experience, represents Minas Gerais. He says his newborn daughter inspired him to seek new opportunities. Nirah, from Pará, focuses on brega and tecnomelody, styles she's been involved with since her adolescence, when she joined the Companhia do Calypso.

In the sertanejo music scene, Gabriel Smaniotto gained notoriety after going viral with an empty show in 2019. Alongside him, Biahh Cavalcante, from Rio Claro, São Paulo, is banking on her spontaneous personality to stand out. "I already have the no," he said, commenting on his performance.

Completing the team are romantic Juceir Júnior, pagode singer Bea, forro singer Janício, and R&B artists Talíz and Hanii. Talíz, from Brasília, grew up influenced by music in her family. Hanii, from Santo André, São Paulo, began her career in childhood and promises creativity as a distinguishing feature.

The new edition of the program aims to reconnect the audience with the participants' journey, focusing on the diversity of rhythms and life stories. Globo is investing in new dynamics and technical reinforcement to attract more fans, especially on busy nights on Brazilian television.
