Malaysian woman shocks after showing extreme skin changes during pregnancy, video goes viral and responds to criticism of her appearance: 'It affects my mental health'

A recent video by 28-year-old Farah Faizal shocked internet users. In the footage, viewed over 100 million times on TikTok , the Malaysian woman shows how her skin completely changed after becoming pregnant. The young woman developed a red rash all over her face and is now trying to cope with the situation, months after giving birth.
"I survived 9 months of chaos, cried in my face more than I care to admit, and now I'm officially someone's mom," she posted.
On her account, Farah said that, according to her doctor, the diagnosis was simply pregnancy hormones . "In the first trimester, just small bumps. In the second trimester, my skin became thicker, with visible and thicker expression lines and expression lines," she clarified, answering her followers' questions.
Already beginning her healing journey, the young woman said that her goal here is to raise awareness and let other women who have gone through the same experience know that they are not alone.
"Few people talk about it openly. On social media, people often share the beautiful side of pregnancy. I used to wonder why I didn't have that 'pregnancy glow' that everyone else seemed to have. But after doing my own research, I realized I'm not the only one who feels this way. That's exactly why I chose to share my story, so that others don't feel isolated in their journey," she said.
