Lady Gaga Pays Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne in Concert (Coldplay Too)

Lady Gaga paid tribute to late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne following news of his death on Tuesday, July 22.
The singer, who performs the song "Bad Romance," was on stage during her "Mayhem Ball" tour in San Francisco, California, when she opened her coat and revealed a sweater with Ozzy's name on it. It happened while Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train," a song from the 1980s, was playing.

But Lady Gaga wasn't the only artist to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. According to E! News, Cyndi Lauper also performed the same song—which marked Ozzy's solo debut—at her Raleigh concert. This tribute was also captured in images that quickly made their way onto social media.
The 72-year-old artist played the song on her cell phone, which she held near the microphone for the audience to hear. "For Ozzy," she said.

Coldplay, in turn, dedicated their Nashville show to Ozzy Osbourne. They also made a point of playing a cover of Black Sabbath's 1972 hit "Changes."
Speaking to the audience, while paying tribute to the late artist, the band's lead singer, Chris Martin, added: "We send our love to his family."
