Jani Gabriel explains why she doesn't want to show her boyfriend on Instagram

J ani Gabriel, who became known to the public for her career in television and fashion, is currently experiencing a more discreet—and therefore less public—phase in her life. On her Instagram page, the 34-year-old personality has been showcasing her academic journey, as she is currently in the final stages of a master's degree in neuropsychology.

On the subject, Jani responded to a question posed to her by a follower, who was intrigued by the change in content on social media.

"Hi Jani. Sorry for the question, I'm not one of those things, but it really is something that inspires curiosity. I notice several times that you never share much about your family, friends, boyfriend... any specific reason? Excuse me for being curious, but your Instagram is really 'yours' and I was left with that question. Sorry again, it's just curiosity. I really like your content, especially the tips. Kisses and best wishes."

Noting that this wasn't the first time she had been asked about the subject, Jani Gabriel decided to answer the question.

" Many of those who have followed me for a long time here, whether on Instagram or through my fashion and/or TV career, know that during this phase my private life was more exposed.

At this point, and after several situations, I want to protect the privacy of some people and events in my life . I still share many of my things here, but I decided at a certain point to keep many others private.

Jani Gabriel's Old Romances (and the New Unknown)

Without a doubt, one of Jani Gabriel's most high-profile relationships was with actor Rui Porto Nunes, who became known after participating in several acting projects, including the SIC vampire soap opera 'Lua Vermelha' (which is now back).

The actor and the former presenter were together for seven years, even getting engaged. In 2021, they separated.

In an interview with Manuel Luís Goucha, Rui Porto Nunes recalled this phase: "It wasn't a failure. Once again, we return to the conversation of cycles and the direction life takes. In the end, everything works out. Just accept it and move on," he said. "I don't think it's worth always looking for answers, because sometimes they don't exist. You have to overcome things," he added.

Jani Gabriel's last public relationship was with veterinarian André Santos, from whom she also separated. However, at the end of last year, when asked on social media if her heart was "available," she replied "no," implying that she had found love again.
