Few dramas have managed to withstand the test of time as well as ' Winter Sonata ' , also known by many as ' Winter Sonata '. 'Winter Sonata' follows the story of Joon-sang (played by Bae Yong-joon), an introspective young man who moves with his mother to a rural town in search of clues about the whereabouts of his biological father. At his new school, he meets Yoo-jin (Choi Ji-woo), a sweet girl with a warm heart. What begins as a friendship soon turns into a deep love, but one that has its scars.

A serious accident ended up causing Joon-sang to lose his memory and, taking advantage of the situation, his mother, who never accepted the relationship, takes him out of the country, destroying everything that those young people built and dreamed of for a long time.
