From expulsion from Farofa da Gkay to betrayal: 6 controversies starring Tirullipa

Summary Tirullipa admitted to having cheated on his wife in the past, publicly apologized and reaffirmed his commitment to his family, in addition to recalling previous controversies involving harassment, sexism and inappropriate behavior.

Influencer and comedian Tirullipa, 40, has become one of the most talked-about topics in recent days. The reason for his attention is that he admitted to cheating on his wife, Stéfania Lemos , with Dani Lopez, the daughter of his former press officer. On his Instagram profile, he acknowledged his mistake, said he had a frank conversation with his wife, and that he will fight to keep his family together .
"Extremely ashamed, I come to apologize, once again, to my family, my fans and those who follow my work, in light of the recent news. This didn't happen now, it's a thing of the past. This exposed episode was overcome when I came to my senses," Tirullipa began in a post on Instagram.
"I asked for forgiveness, committed to seeking all necessary change so that I wouldn't lose what's most important to me: my family. I know I made a mistake, I hurt the most important people in my life, and since then, I've been trying every day to fix my mistakes," he added on social media.
Despite his mistake, the comedian was widely embraced by his online followers . Taking advantage of the opportunity, Terra decided to revisit other times when Tirullipa was the target of controversy. Check it out:
Expulsion in Gkay's Farofa

In the second half of 2022, Tirullipa was kicked out of Farofa da Gkay for sexually harassing some guests . The incident gained notoriety when a video—in which he appears untying a woman's bikini—began to circulate online. At the time, the girls were simulating a Gugu Bathtub-style game. Months later, he dismissed the incident as "whining."
"For everyone there, it was normal. They were filming without any problems, but then the internet started accusing them, complaining, and seeing a different perspective from people who weren't there. The heat of the moment is one thing, everyone is laughing and joking, but we forget that there are people filming, and on the other side, there's another view, which condemns," he said in a video shared via Instagram Stories.
Nude publication

On another occasion, the comedian caught his followers' attention by sharing a nude photo. At the time, he was heavily criticized by his followers, as his fan base is made up of children. "If you take the owner of the ball, the game is over," he joked in the caption. In the image, he covered his genitals with only a ball. The photo was deleted shortly after.
Peeing on Wesley Safadão's live stream

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tirullipa peed his clothes during a livestream with Wesley Safadão and the group Raça Negra. Afterward, he joked: "Everyone cries for the place they miss most. Mom always says we can't hold our pee for too long. I can't believe I did that. I'm sorry, everyone."
Wesley Safadão, upon witnessing what was happening, couldn't contain his laughter. Later, the comedian vented: "Things happen very naturally. The whining crowd... Guys, forgive me if I sounded ridiculous. You have every right to dislike it, just as I have the right to do what I want. But I apologize," he said, adding: "I think a lot of people enjoyed it and found it genuine. I didn't do it to offend anyone. I looked ridiculous myself. I was joking, it was me, and that's the crazy Tirullipa."
Fight with the neighbor

In 2020, also during the pandemic, Tirullipa engaged in public altercations with a neighbor . According to the newspaper Extra, the comedian was warned and fined by the management of the Alphaville Eusébio condominium in Fortaleza for constant noise made by him and his family.
Yanna Guimarães, Tirullipa's neighbor, even sent a message to the comedian on social media. "My daughter and I were there in person talking to him, and his wife said she was going to ask him to tone it down. It's loud all day. No one can stand it. It's unbearable," she commented. "Besides his loudness, it's loud at all hours of the day. It starts at 8:30 a.m., goes until midnight, 1 a.m.... It's even gone until 5 a.m. My daughter and I want to study, but we can't," she added. There's no information on whether the dispute between the two parties has been resolved.
Case of machismo

A few months later, the influencer was accused of sexism by Ana Helena Bezerra. At the time, the comedian placed his face on her body and said, "The importance of VAR." The joke, however, didn't go down well and ended up generating criticism.
"It surprises me that we women still see and hear sexist comments, are judged for our bodies, and often experience harassment on the street, online, and so on. This is unacceptable. I just received several messages about the post that the famous comedian Tirullipa made with my photo, objectifying women's bodies, using sexist humor that, in fact, isn't humor. I think this has to end once and for all," she lamented, venting on social media.
After the widespread backlash, Tirullipa deleted the post and apologized. "I embrace this cause with you. I apologize, especially because I have to be responsible for my posts, especially since it was on my Instagram. So, we're in this together, don't worry about that. I'm here for whatever comes. You can count on me. Thank you, Mara, and thank you for your sensitivity and for actually listening to me."

In 2022, the comedian was the target of a search and seizure operation at his home in Alphaville, São Paulo. Authorities seized cash and luxury items from the residence as part of an investigation into Betzord, an online betting company. At the time, Tirullipa claimed in his defense that he was innocent and had no ties to the company. The court ordered the investigation closed in 2023.
