Did Rafaela want to “look good in the photo”? Carlos reveals the truth about leaving the program!

The second big bombshell of Married at First Sight ! During the group dinner, Rafaela was accused of having cheated on Carlos . Although the Setúbal native denied the rumors, the truth is that the doubt remained in the air.

At the Commitment Ceremony , the couple ended up leaving the program … But by the groom's decision. Well, to his surprise, the makeup artist chose to continue in the experiment.

In conversation with Júlia Pinheiro , Carlos Castanheira ended up revealing details about his departure .

“The moment of departure didn’t go as expected at all, because… We had both agreed to leave” , he explains.

And he ends up explaining everything: “There was a prior arrangement. There was a conversation, which was recorded, the day before and we had both agreed that we were going to leave, as it didn’t make sense to stay.”

“Once again, those are empty words” , he says, adding: “Rafaela’s ‘staying’ was a big surprise for me (…) I couldn’t understand, I don’t know if it was to make yet another accusation against me” .

Finally, he puts his interpretation on the table: “It was more about trying to look good in Rafaela’s photo, because we had talked about going out, we had the conversation at night, after dinner, we commented on several episodes, we demystified several things” .
