Following the controversial revelations made by Ana Duarte on 'Curva da Vida' on 'Big Brother Famosos', in which she is a contestant, Ricardinho issued a statement on social media with the "right of reply" this Tuesday, August 26.

"In light of the recently released statements and with full respect for the truth and my public image, I feel obliged to clarify and report the facts objectively and without resorting to insinuations or personal judgments.

The allegations attributed to me do not correspond to reality, are unfounded and will be duly assessed shortly by the competent court .

The relationship with Ana Duarte ended for private reasons, and the divorce, as she is well aware, was by mutual consent , as stated in the conciliation minutes filed at the Civil Registry Office. Therefore, it is completely false that this was a contentious process. In fact, it occurred at a time when Ana Duarte had already rebuilt her personal life .

I have always acted in accordance with my family and legal duties, never failing to provide due support , maintaining an excellent relationship with our common daughter, which is the main reason why I adopt a reserved stance regarding the exposure of this matter.

I regret that my private life has been exposed publicly and in a distorted manner, but as before, I will not go into details or make personal attacks. Despite this, I will not tolerate narratives that only seek to undermine my image and will pursue the restoration of the truth, both personal and legal, to the utmost.

I hope Ana Duarte follows her own path, focused on her personal merit and not on a past that is now being distorted in order to advance her career. With this clarification, I conclude my remarks on the subject, reaffirming that my priority continues to be my family and children, my profession, and above all, the truth of the facts.

The controversial revelations of Ana Duarte, Ricardinho's ex-wife

At last Sunday's 'Big Brother Celebrities' gala, Ana Duarte, the futsal player's ex-wife, recalled the end of their relationship. "I suffered a lot, I felt useless. I was just a housewife [...] we also had some arguments. I think that's when I started to feel a little depressed," she revealed.

Regarding the divorce, the singer from Braga highlighted: "It was a very contentious divorce. I left with nothing, nothing, zero. I had to sell everything, I lost my house, I went to live with my parents. [...] Nobody knew Ana Duarte. This person took the ground from under my feet, but God is always on my side and I managed."

Ana Duarte took a turn for the worse on 'Big Brother Verão,' where she recounted her divorce from Ricardinho, her daughter's father. The singer confessed she was left with nothing and had to sell everything.
