'The Handmaid's Tale' Actress Madeline Brewer Marries in England

Madeline Brewer, who plays Janine in the series 'The Handmaid's Tale', married cinematographer Jack Thompson-Roylance.
The ceremony took place at North Cadbury Court in Somerset, England, on July 12th. It is also known that the ceremony, which took place outdoors, brought together 130 guests, including the couple's closest friends and family. Later, approximately 60 more guests joined a private party.
Madeline Brewer walked down the aisle with her parents. At the same time, cellist Sarah Moody played Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Over," the same song that played when Jack Thompson-Roylance proposed to the actress.
As for the bride's dress, Madeline Brewer chose a vintage Vera Wang. The veil, also vintage, was by Jane Bourvis.
According to People, the actress wore three dresses during the two-day celebration. First, she wore a 1996 Tom Ford Gucci gown to the "very relaxed" rehearsal dinner and the "casual chic" welcome party on Friday night, July 11. The following day, at a post-wedding party, Madeline Brewer swapped her Vera Wang wedding dress for a vintage Valentino gown by Shrimpton Couture.
Jack Thompson-Roylance wore a Calvin Klein suit on Friday and a Casely Hayford suit on Saturday. His twin brother, Boris, served as his best man and officiated the union.
But the interesting facts about this special day don't stop there. The first dance was to Elvis Presley's song, "Blue Moon."

Madeline Brewer and Jack Thompson-Roylance met through a dating app in October 2022. At the time, the actress was working in London.
The marriage proposal arrived more than a year later, on January 3, 2024. The cinematographer knelt before his beloved in New York City's Central Park. This big news was only shared with the world months later, in July, through a post the actress made on Instagram. Watch or relive it below.
