'Receiving treatment': Anitta reveals severe health problem after canceling show at São João in Campina Grande

The cancellation of the show , which was scheduled to take place this Wednesday (18), at Parque do Povo, was announced by the singer's team this Monday (16), and took fans by surprise. The performance was one of the most anticipated at the Paraíba June festival and would be the artist's first show at the traditional northeastern celebration.
Initially, the official statement from Anitta's press office did not specify what health problem led to the cancellation. The text only said that the artist needed "rest" and "medical care". In a note, the team also stated that Anitta "deeply regrets her absence from this very special event and reiterates the affection she has for the public of Paraíba".

Hours later, on her fan channel on Instagram, the singer decided to open up and explained in detail the reason for her absence. Anitta revealed that she was facing a severe bacterial infection , which requires treatment with antibiotics administered directly into the vein.
