This Saturday (26), Soraya Rocha , a personal friend and makeup artist of Preta Gil for 11 years, paid an emotional tribute to the singer on social media . Along with a carousel of images, she recalled the beginning of her friendship with the artist and also the last request made by the singer: that she do her makeup at her farewell .
"Our journey began 11 years ago. I remember when I did my first makeup on you. Preda, it wasn't just a milestone in my life, it was more than that. She held me close, she was my shelter when I lost my mother, she saw my talent when I didn't even know it existed. Yesterday I said goodbye to you, and fulfilled your last wish," she began.
" It wasn't easy, but I kept my promise ! But then I understood that I needed to have this moment just for us. Our connection is eternal! I did your last makeup, as I have done for the last 11 years of work . With all the love, affection and dedication. It was 3 years of a lot of struggle, what a warrior you were, my friend! And you taught us to be strong even in times of pain. I sleep and wake up thinking about you, what will it be like now?", continued Soraya.
