Train travel on All Saints' Day. PKP (Polish State Railways) has provided important information.

PKP Intercity will be adding additional carriages to celebrate the upcoming All Saints' Day. As many as 21 of its trains will be operated on that day by two or three connected trains. Although the company will strive to provide as many seats as possible over the holiday weekend, travelers should consider booking tickets in advance. Additionally, mobile information agents will be available to passengers at Poland's largest stations.
300-meter trains for All Saints' DayAt the end of October, many Poles will be heading out of town. Some will be visiting family graves in other towns for All Saints' Day, while others will use their free time for sightseeing trips. Regardless of the reason for their journey, PKP Intercity will guarantee fast transport to their destination. How has the carrier prepared for this special time? "We have nearly 200 additional carriages in 168 trains running on the most popular routes, as well as 21 trains operated by two or three connected vehicles," the press office reported. The longest trains, offering up to 700 seats, will be up to 300 meters long. Such a train will operate on the Wrocław-Warsaw route, among others.
Tickets must be purchased in advanceIt's best not to leave booking your ticket until the last minute. While you can certainly do so at the station ticket office just before departure, seats may be sold out. "The carrier encourages you to plan your journey in advance and purchase tickets in advance," we read.
Additionally, passengers can count on mobile information agents at key railway stations. "They will help travelers arrange convenient transfers, find the right platform, and provide all the necessary information during their journey. They will be available at the following stations: Warszawa Zachodnia, Warszawa Centralna, Warszawa Wschodnia, Gdańsk Główny, Gdynia Główna, Szczecin Główny, Kraków Główny, Katowice, Przemyśl Główny, Poznań Główny, and Wrocław Główny," PKP Intercity reports.
