Toyota – a future drawing on tradition

Toyota's foundation is innovation and a constant willingness to adapt. Although models like the Corolla and Land Cruiser are icons of reliability and longevity, Toyota has never rested on its laurels, constantly surprising new generations with technological advancements. As a result, Toyota has solidified its position as an industry leader in both sales and innovation over the decades.

The impressive investment in research and development is proof of this. Annually, it reaches 1.3 trillion yen, the equivalent of one million dollars per hour! All to ensure that drivers and passengers travel in safe and technologically advanced vehicles.

The development of reliable hybrid drives, innovative safety systems, and driver assistance systems is possible thanks to 22 research and development centers scattered around the world – 8 of them are located in Japan, 5 in North America, 3 in Europe, and 6 in Asia.

Between these global innovation hubs, approximately 15,000 patents are created each year. In the United States alone, Toyota has led automakers in patents for the 11th consecutive year (it ranks 10th overall).

The development of modern drivetrains has been a goal of Toyota for several decades. The manufacturer is taking a cautious approach to the transition towards electromobility. Toyota is pursuing a multi-pronged strategy that gives customers the opportunity to choose from a variety of drivetrain options tailored to their needs and infrastructure capabilities. Hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric and hydrogen drivetrains, as well as traditional combustion engines – Toyota is thinking about all customers and investing resources in perfecting future technologies.

This approach has a specific goal: improving the ecological and economic benefits of transportation in a sustainable and accessible way for everyone. Toyota believes that thanks to its flexible choice of powertrains, customers from different regions will intuitively select the right solution for their needs.

Toyota is keeping its finger on the pulse of electromobility and, fully aware of developing trends and technologies, plans to expand its model offerings in this segment. The new Urban Cruiser, offering a distinctive design and two battery capacities – 49 kWh and 61 kWh – will soon hit Polish roads.

The well-known mid-size crossover now has a new version – the CH-R+ – with a range of up to 600 km. Charging with direct current is very fast – from 10% to 80% charge in just 30 minutes. Customers looking for a family car for active leisure will have the opportunity to upgrade to the debuting bZ4X Touring trim. The car is longer and higher than the standard version, increasing cargo space by 33%.

By 2026 , six additional all-new Toyota electric vehicles will debut—ranging from compact city cars to crossovers to SUVs. These will include vehicles inspired by the bZ Compact SUV concept, which combines sportiness with practicality.

The driver has always been the focus of Toyota engineers, and cars, beyond their impressive technical parameters, are designed to support them, ensure safety, and offer a comfortable journey. Technologies such as Toyota Safety Sense, V2X, and autonomous driving solutions are constantly being developed and improved.

Does tradition exclude modernity? Absolutely not! By tradition, Toyota understands quality, reliability, and respect for the customer, while modernity means innovation and flexibility never before offered in the automotive industry. Toyota combines experience with courage, imagination with realism, and global thinking with a local understanding of customer needs.
Buying a Toyota isn't just about buying a car. It's an investment in the future, one you can access immediately—here and now.
