Priceless treasures to see for free. This attraction will attract tourists.

The exhibition in question is free, making it a special treat for lovers of travel, art, and history. At Prague Castle, tourists are now able to view priceless royal regalia, which are normally kept under strict security – they are kept in a chamber whose keys are held exclusively by seven of the country's most important figures. Now we have the opportunity to see these treasures in person.
Free attraction in PragueThe exhibition was held in the Władysław Hall of the Old Royal Palace to celebrate the feast day of the Czech patron saint, St. Wenceslas, on September 28th. Visits will be available only this month, specifically until September 29th. Local students had the opportunity to visit the site before the official opening, and now everyone is welcome.
This initiative, announced a year ago by President Petr Pavel, has decided that the gem exhibition will be held annually on St. Wenceslas Day. Gems are a symbol of Czech statehood and national identity, so their exhibition always generates great interest among tourists and locals alike.
If you are going to Prague during this period, it is worth taking into account the promotional ticket prices of well-known airlines , but also the offer of PKP Intercity, which allows you to travel to the Czech capital by train from Warsaw, among others.
This is what you will see in Prague CastleAmong the priceless treasures on display is one of the most beautiful crowns in Europe, as highlighted by the Czech Tourism Authority – CzechTourism. It was made in 1346 for the coronation of the Holy Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles IV. It is made entirely of pure gold and precious stones.
Additionally, the collection of Czech Crown Jewels includes a scepter adorned with sapphires and a royal orb with a cross inlaid with gemstones. The exhibition will depict the dramatic story from World War II, when Czech jewels were secretly transported to Slovakia and hidden in the castle's vaults. The exhibition will also feature original documents, photographs, and the chest in which these treasures were stored.
“These jewels are a symbol of Czech statehood and national identity, which is why their exhibition always attracts great interest,” emphasize representatives of CzechTourism.
