Poles' holiday preferences for foreign destinations have changed repeatedly in recent years. Once a very popular destination, Bulgaria is no longer a popular choice , and new favorite countries have taken its place. According to experts from the Rainbow travel agency, these include Montenegro and Morocco. However, the real phenomenon is Tunisia. "It primarily attracts tourists seeking exotic destinations, beautiful beaches, and the rich culture of North Africa," we read.

There is no holiday without Turkey and Greece

For years, Turkey and Greece have consistently been among the top favorite vacation destinations for Polish tourists. The former offers guests affordable prices and high-quality hotels, while the latter boasts fabulous beaches and a wealth of culture. Both boast excellent weather, although summer heat can be a challenge for visitors.

It's hard to imagine Poles' holiday choices changing so dramatically in the coming years that Turkey and Greece fall off the podium. Rainbow experts, however, note that our eyes and wallets are increasingly turning to slightly more exotic destinations.

Tourists are looking for excitement there

Holidays are no longer just a place to relax; they're a gateway to discovering the world. Morocco and Montenegro, both newcomers to organized tourism, offer tourists further experiences. "These two countries are ideal for those who want to escape the norm and experience something completely new," says Aleksandra Piwko-Susik, Rainbow Board Member. However, the deserts and beaches of Morocco and the pristine nature of Montenegro are second only to Tunisia, which has undoubtedly been the most dynamically developing destination in recent years. "We believe that the new charter flight we launched this season from Katowice Airport to picturesque Tabarka will encourage even more Polish tourists to discover the charms of this part of the world," says Piwko-Susik.
