Simon J. Britsch has been with Bayer for 25 years. He began his career with the company in 2000 as a participant in an internship program in Germany, where his potential was recognized. In 2009, he became Chief Financial Officer of Bayer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Three years later, he was responsible for managing and developing the commercial operations of the Healthcare division in Beijing. After seven years in Asia, he returned to Germany, where he was responsible for the company's strategic initiatives, including building a global Enterprise Risk Management system.
In 2021, he took up another international position in Mumbai: Chief Financial Officer of the South Asia region, where he oversaw the financial operations of Bayer, a company listed on the Indian stock exchange.
Responsible for the company's development in Eastern EuropeSince July 2025, Simon J. Britsch has been working in Poland - from the Warsaw office, he is responsible for shaping the company's financial strategy in the entire Eastern European region.

Britsch holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Essen and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid. He also developed his leadership skills through management programs at Harvard Business School, of which he is a graduate.
