A well-known pharmacist takes over as director of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector's office

M.Pharm. Olga Sierpniowska has taken over as director of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector's office. The previous director resigned from the position in mid-May.

As reported by the mgr.farm portal, Olga Sierpniowska recently took over the position of director of the office of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector, replacing Damian Kuraś, who resigned from his position in mid-May.
The new director, who has already represented the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate during the meeting of the subcommittee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland for public health, is a well-known figure in the Polish pharmaceutical community.
Olga Sierpniowska is a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Jagiellonian University, working as a pharmacist since 2005. In 2016, she obtained the title of specialist in pharmacy, and is currently continuing her specialization in clinical pharmacy.
She is also a certified trainer of PIDM motivational dialogue and a Language Expert of Simple Polish. She was active in the self-government of the pharmacist profession and is the author of numerous articles and publications popularizing knowledge in the field of pharmacy and educational materials for patients.
For many years she was associated with the editorial office of "Aptekarz Polski", cooperating with it since 2008, and since 2023 she has been the editor-in-chief of this journal. She is also a member of the Subcommittee of the Supreme Pharmaceutical Chamber for the development and development of pharmaceutical care standards and pharmaceutical services.
She is actively involved in important public health initiatives: she is a co-author of guidelines for pharmacists on emergency contraception and an expert on the "Morning After" campaign.
