Kubica wins the legendary Le Mans 2025! His great dream came true

What is delayed, will not run away - this is what Robert Kubica can say to himself on Sunday evening. Our driver has finally won the Le Mans race! The 40-year-old, despite his best efforts, has not yet been able to win this competition, but on June 15, 2025, he finally achieved his goal. He is the first Pole to achieve this feat in the most important Hypercar category.
The Krakow native's sports portfolio includes triumphs in the WRC-2 World Rally Championship and the World Endurance Championship in the LMP2 class, the Formula Renault 3.5 Championship and a memorable victory in the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Now Robert Kubica can add the highest step of the podium at Le Mans to his rich collection. The Pole has tried for this prestigious trophy many times, but without success - twice he was prevented from achieving this success by a car failure, and in 2022 and 2023 he took second place in the general classification.
Our best rally driver, thanks to his experience, great persistence and incredible determination in pursuing his goal , fulfilled his great dream of winning this extremely difficult 24-hour race on the fifth attempt.
Robert Kubica gave the AF Corse team a fantastic change, dotting the i's and dotting the i's. He took the victory together with his teammates, namely the British Phil Hanson and Yifei Ye from China.

Kubica, crossing the finish line, did not hide his emotion, and congratulations are pouring in on him on the web. In addition to people from the world of motor sports and commentators, the Pole's success was also appreciated on platform X by, among others, the Minister of Sport Sławomir Nitras.
Interestingly, the Polish team has another reason to celebrate at this year's Le Mans. In the LMP2 category , the Polish team Inter Europol Competition, with Jakub Śmiechowski in its ranks, proved unrivaled.

Let us recall that Le Mans is the oldest long-distance competition of this type in the world, dating back to 1923. In this competition, drivers driving in their teams must complete as many "laps" as possible in 24 hours. Kubica and his colleagues won the 93rd edition of this legendary event.
