Hublot launches new Big Bang for summer 2025. The quintessence of Greek holidays in a deluxe version

The latest Hublot Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 looks like a vacation in Greece enclosed in a 42-mm case. It's no coincidence. This luxury watch is inspired by Greek landscapes and its premiere took place on the island of Mykonos.
How to turn a sunset on the paradise island of Mykonos into... a luxury timepiece? The answer to this question was found by the creators of the new Hublot Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 timepiece.
First of all, the right colors were taken care of. The 42-millimeter case is made of explosively intense, micro-grained orange ceramic , with a bezel in a heavenly, turquoise shade.
Hublot has achieved a masterful level in the technology of colored ceramics. Usually, the pigments change shade after firing, crack or show unevenness - but Hublot achieves here a smoothness of color almost pastel, but not at all bland.

Inside the new Big Bang Unico Summer 2025, the HUB1280 caliber pulses – a self-made movement with a flyback chronograph function that allows you to instantly reset and start the chronograph with a single push of a button – without stopping the hands. This is a function from aviation and sports, but today it fits perfectly with the rhythm of urban safaris and night-time escapades.

The movement is made up of 354 parts, 43 rubies, and has an impressive 72-hour power reserve. That means the watch can sit unused for an entire weekend (if you ever decide to take it off), and still be ready to go when Monday rolls around.

The dial is a classic déjà vu for Hublot fans – an open skeleton design with a “big eye” layout. There are central hour and minute hands, a small seconds at 9 o’clock and a 60-minute counter and date display on the opposite side. But it’s not functionality that plays the main role here, but the colors. Orange and blue contrast with the dark blue base, creating a harmonious whole.
The watch is available with three rubber straps – all with white piping. It is worth mentioning the titanium deployant clasp, which ensures durability and comfort of wearing, even in the tropical heat.

Production of the watch was limited to just 100 pieces. Price? Around 32 thousand euros. But then again, Hublot has never been for those who ask “why so expensive?”
