The Ministry of Health has announced a new recruitment under FERS - psychological support for informal caregivers of the elderly, including Alzheimer's patients. Over PLN 9.3 million has been allocated for the projects. Selected medical entities cooperating in specific macroregions can apply.
- The recruitment includes psychological support in the form of group psychosocial sessions and individual psychological sessions.
- Applications may be submitted by healthcare entities with a contract with the National Health Fund for psychiatric care and addiction treatment.
- Cooperation with at least one additional entity from selected macroregions is required
- The amount of funds allocated for co-financing the projects is PLN 9,369,600.
The Ministry of Health announced that on 28 April 2025, a competitive recruitment was announced for the provision of psychological support, in the form of group psychosocial support sessions and individual psychological sessions, to informal caregivers of older people, including those caring for people with dementia, in particular Alzheimer's disease, under the FERS Programme.
The aim of the recruitment is to select projects for co-financing, in the scope of providing psychological support, in the form of group psychosocial support sessions and individual psychological sessions, for informal caregivers of older people, including people caring for people with dementia, in particular Alzheimer's disease, meeting the general substantive criteria assessed in the 0-1 system, horizontal criteria, and general substantive criteria assessed in points, as well as access criteria and bonus criteria, indicated respectively in Annex No. 1 and Annex No. 6 to the Regulations.
The subject of the recruitment is to select for funding projects that provide psychological support to informal caregivers of older people.
An applicant in the competition may be a healthcare entity that:
- has an agreement with the National Health Fund to provide healthcare services such as psychiatric care and addiction treatment, and at the same time
- will establish cooperation within the project with at least 1 healthcare entity that has: - an agreement with the National Health Fund for the provision of healthcare services in the field of psychiatric care and addiction treatment or in the field of primary healthcare and
-headquartered in one of the 8 macroregions.
The amount of financial resources earmarked for co-financing projects in the call is PLN 9,369,600.
