Google brings to Italy the AI that generates videos from text, a logo to distinguish them

Google has announced the availability for all Gemini Pro subscribers also in Italy , of Veo 3, its AI model for video generation. Unlike the competitor Sora, developed by OpenAI, Veo 3 can add audio conversations, effects and music tracks to the final result, to make the clip more believable.
For this reason, the company explained that it has taken some measures to increase the transparency of content produced with AI. Among these, the insertion of the Veo logo in a corner of each video and the integration, in the digital file, of the SynthId watermark, which serves to distinguish original clips from those created with AI. "It is important that people can access tools that certify the provenance of online content", explains an official note from Google.
“We’re thrilled with the positive response to Veo 3, our cutting-edge model for generating video with native audio,” Big G continues. “That’s why starting today, we’re making it available in Italy and other countries, accessible via the Gemini app for Google AI Pro subscribers.”
The clips produced with Veo 3 have a high-quality resolution (HD) and a fixed duration of 8 seconds, a format that, according to Big G, is ideal for short but impactful content, even for social sharing.
In the spring, OpenAI brought Sora, the video generation model present in ChatGpt, to Italy. As with Veo 3, access is reserved for users with a subscription plan.
