Council of Ministers approves legislative decree against bullying and cyberbullying

The Council of Ministers has given the green light to the legislative decree with the "Provisions on the prevention and fight against bullying and cyberbullying", in implementation of the delegation referred to in Article 3 of Law No. 70 of 2024. "With this provision, a new, important piece is added to the Government's action to promote the culture of respect and to fight bullying in all its forms. We warn our children about the risks of using the Internet and we also warn families about the responsibility that can result from violent behavior by their children on social media to the detriment of other young people. We are also developing important prevention and assistance activities for victims, who can count on a dedicated toll-free number", comments the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara.
