Jun 13, 2025
A “making of living people” who, with their productive activities, with the forms of associated life, the struggles, the language, relate to the environment, giving life to an urban landscape and social landscape : will this be the city of the future? To reflect on the relationship between the physical and social conformation of cities and try to prefigure future “landscapes”, LA associati - Laboratory of architecture and urban planning is hosting today the meeting “S-guardo alla città. Paesaggi urbani. Paesaggi sociali“, as part of Open!, the event promoted by the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists, which will see several events in Brescia. "We are faced with a technological evolution whose limit we cannot measure – comments Luciano Lussignoli, president of LA associati -. The question we must ask ourselves is what city should we build around this? Do we reason as in the past or do we go beyond?". This will be discussed today from 5:30 pm to 10 pm in via Corsica 118 with speeches by Mariachiara Bonetti, Pierluigi Salvadeo, Oana Diaconescu for Landscapes elsewhere (testimonies from Tanzania, China, Romania), Marco Cassin, Diego Mesa, Nicla Picchi, Giancarlo Turati for reflections on the future of medium-sized cities with a high production presence.
