Singer-songwriter and rocker Marco Ligabue
Bareggio (Milan), June 12, 2025 – Rock and singer-songwriter music meet in an energetic and authentic live show, made of music played without compromise. This is what the concert that singer-songwriter Marco Ligabue will bring to the stage of the Pratone Events Area in Bareggio in the Milan area tomorrow at 9:30 pm will offer: the artist from Emilia, brother of rocker Luciano , will thrill the audience with his engaging spirit and intense songs, which address important issues with a frank and direct language.
Postcards from LondonTalented rock singer-songwriter and former founder of Rio , Marco Ligabue is on tour riding the wave of his new single entitled "Le canzoni inglesi" , a piece that aims to be a tribute to Brit-pop , between nostalgia and memory of an era of youth and freedom, with images and sounds that bring us back to the London of those years. The ballad has been defined by the author himself as "a postcard from London" , in which lightheartedness, rebellion and melancholy mix, the story of emotions and of a place that was discovery and adventure. A direct and instinctive sound , characteristic of the artist from Correggio.
“A journey through time”"'Le canzoni inglesi' is a postcard from London – explains Ligabue –, a journey through time to an era in which everything seemed possible : loves that burned in one night, dreams that had the taste of freedom, evenings lived to the last beat. There is the lightheartedness of an age that never returns , the echo of Elton John's notes, the unmistakable scratch of Brit-pop. It is a song that has a taste of nostalgia, of rebellion, of that vertigo that only music can preserve".
Next stop: LondonAll things that will also flow into tomorrow's concert, as in the entire current tour. "On stage I look for pure energy and the human component - says Ligabue -. No sequences , no teleprompters, no bases: just real music, played and experienced together with the band. All I need is a guitar, a bass and a drum kit to light up the Italian squares. And now also London (where the tour will stop, ed.). It will be my first time there and I want to face it with all the grit and authenticity that music has taught me. In parallel I will also continue with 'Salutami tuo fratello', a show that tells the story of our Emilia with irony and heart and that continues to conquer the public, stage after stage".
