Il Giardino dei Semplici celebrates 50 years of music: a special stop in Pianura

The historic Neapolitan band Il Giardino dei Semplici is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a celebratory tour across Italy, arriving in Pianura on Tuesday, July 29th at the Vocazionaria Deus Charitas (Via Don Giustino M. Russolillo, 14). Admission is free, subject to availability. On stage, the band, which has sold more than 5 million records, will retrace its musical history through its most famous songs, which have accompanied generations of musicians, thanks to an elegant and refined rock-pop sound, enhanced by falsettos and harmonious and evocative vocal blends.
The group alias Andrea Arcella (keyboards, piano, programming, backing vocals), Tommy Esposito (drums, backing vocals), Luciano Liguori (bass, lead vocals, backing vocals) and Savio Arato (guitars, backing vocals) will offer more than two hours of music and emotions live with their greatest hits (“M'innamorai”, “Miele”, “Tu ca nun chiagne”, “Vai”, “Concerto in A minore” …) including those included in their eleventh studio album “ Argento Vivo ”.
GdS is one of the strongest and longest-running bands in the Italian music scene. A fifty-year career has seen them sell five million records, perform 2,000 concerts, appear at one Sanremo Music Festival, three Festivalbars, and win countless awards over the decades. The group's distinctive style is its ability to blend pop and rock with traditional Italian and Neapolitan music.
