High Altitude Theater. Art meets nature and entertains children.

CHURCH IN VALMALENCO (Sondrio) It's written Taq , but pronounced Teatro d'Alta quota (High Altitude Theatre) , and it's the cultural event that will take place from August 7th to 10th in Valmalenco . The idea, embraced and supported by the Union of Municipalities of Valmalenco, is by Tibor Bricalli , a young theatergoer of Caspoggio origins, founder of the Amata Compagnia , an Italian-French company based in Versailles, which has been traveling between France and Italy for years, performing multilingual shows based on commedia dell'arte and popular theater . The four-day Taq festival in Valmalenco will unfold between theater and nature, touching on Caspoggio, Chiesa, Lanzada, Spriana, and Torre di Santa Maria: the goal is to unite people of all ages with a single, great event, while also enhancing the local area and building bonds through art. Thanks to the participation of several Valtellina cultural associations, local businesses, volunteers, and young people, in addition to the artistic and musical component, every day will also offer EstaTaq , the Taq Festival 's summer camp, designed for children aged 5 to 13. For four afternoons, the participants (already over 60) will enjoy immersive experiences including expressive games, workshops, music, and outdoor activities, led by a specialized drama teacher.
