Guitar Show: Good start. Attendances explode in Bologna

The collaboration with Eufonica and Mei makes a plus 20%. Many artists present
The Guitar Show at the Bologna Fair got off to a good start. The event dedicated to the world of guitars, which took place at the same time as Eufonica and the preview of the Meeting of Independent Labels , alone attracted 8,400 attendees, 20% more than the 2024 edition held in Padua. In total, the two events, on May 10 and 11, recorded 13,000 visitors. The Guitar Show welcomed over 300 exhibitors, with a constantly growing share of foreign participation, which reached 47%. All the souls of the musical supply chain linked to the guitar and bass were present: luthiers, artisans, independent builders, modders, distributors, retailers and representatives of international brands. An extremely wide offer that included electric and acoustic instruments and technologies applied to music. Without forgetting the large presence of artists such as Phil Palmer, Chris Buck, Drigo and Cesare of Negrita, Andrea Braido, Jack Gardiner, Mel Previte and Max Cottafavi. Over 300 events were held at the Fair and another 50 were located in the city thanks to the events of Eufonica Off and the Guitar Week organized by the Conservatory of Bologna with free concerts by Cristiano Godano, Statuto and Frida Bollani Magoni, the presence at the talks of artists and operators such as Paolo Fresu, Antonio Taormina, Murubutu, Queen of Saba, Delta V, Elasi, Corrado Nuccini. Eufonica, Mei and Guitar Show have in fact laid the foundations for a next edition at the highest levels.
