CERNOBBIO (Como) In the park of Villa Erba, a day dedicated to summer and the outdoors, enjoying the beauty of Luchino Visconti 's historic home with theater , music , cinema , and guided tours that will continue until late evening, engaging adults and children alike. The event is Wednesday with the third stage of "The 4 Seasons of Villa Erba."
Guided tours of the newly inaugurated multimedia exhibition, "The Rooms of Luchino Visconti," are the focus. An immersive experience combining memory, storytelling, and innovation, the exhibition opens from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Using cutting-edge digital technologies, including immersive projections, video mapping, and spatialized sound, six historic rooms on the first floor of the ancient villa have been transformed into a narrative and sensorial journey, evoking emotions, inspirations, and images that span the director's life and work.
For the little ones, at 5 pm in the Villa Park, the show "Seme di mela" (Apple Seed), produced by the Teatro del Buratto and aimed at 2-6 year olds, will be performed. At 6 pm, in the Villa Patio, the concert "Tra ragione e sentimento" (Between Reason and Sentiment) will be performed by the Trio Hèrmes: violin, cello, and piano. At 7 pm, also in the Villa Park, the theater will perform "Falstaff. Il tempo delle burle" (Falstaff: The Time of Jokes), an adaptation of Giuseppe Verdi's famous opera. The show is directed by Andrea Piazza, with piano accompaniment by Matteo Failla. The evening concludes at 9:30 pm with the "Open-Air Cinema at Casa Visconti," which pays homage to the director with a screening of the 1967 film "Le streghe" (The Witches).
Villa Bernasconi also offers "Fuori Villa," free access to the exhibition rooms and guided tours of the temporary exhibitions: at 4 pm and 8:30 pm, the exhibition "Stefano Bombardieri. Post Station at Villa Bernasconi"; at 5 pm, "Suggestions. Erika Trojer."
