Great jazz on Rivington's magical nights

Saturday evenings in September at the Rivington are tinged with jazz : live music , sophisticated cocktails , and gourmet cuisine overlooking the Porta Nuova skyline. An international atmosphere, combining the charm of Milan with the energy of New York , for unforgettable evenings. For the occasion, Rivington offers a menu inspired by the Big Apple: Oysters Rockefeller with spinach and pecorino, Steak Tartare "Hudson", Smoked Asparagus Ravioli with langoustine tartare and shrimp foam, Surf & Turf, Rossini Style, and NY-style cheesecake. Paired with cocktails inspired by Manhattan speakeasies and an exclusive selection of Garesio wines.
Saturday the 13th is the turn of the Milanese jazz trio composed of the talented Sara Lupi and two masters of the jazz scene: Fabrizio Bernasconi , a pianist of extraordinary sensitivity, and Daniele Moretto , a trumpeter of great versatility. A journey through jazz classics, with forays into bossa nova and French chanson d'auteur.
On September 20th, Martino Vercesi , guitar, and Marcello Testa , double bass, will perform “The great American songbook”, masterpieces from the first half of the 20th century, from George Gershwin to Duke Ellington, passing through Cole Porter and Jimmy Van Heusen, to the Be Bop era.
On the 27th the Organ Trio ( Max Gallo guitar, Yazan Greselin organ and Matteo Rebulla drums) between organ and Hammond sounds.
