From July 1st in Morcone RaRo, Festival of creative and cultural work

The second edition of RaRo – Festival del Lavoro Creativo & Culturale will be held from July 1st to 12th in Morcone (Benevento) on the initiative of Kinetès and its founder, Rossella Del Prete. The goal, a note underlines, is to “reaffirm the value of the creative and cultural production sector. The CultuRA-LavoRO combination requires great attention especially in the internal areas of our Mezzogiorno and becomes an axiom from which to start again”. The theme of the 2025 edition is “Tailored Narrations. The art of sewing your dreams” which, it is stated, “metaphorically leads back to the world of writing and publishing (books that narrate, that are sewn, by hand and in even more artistic forms, and that sew stories), to the world of design, tailoring and creative craftsmanship (Kinetès has restored and reopened an old tailor's shop in the historic center of Morcone to make it a place of creative production), but which also leads back to the need to act in terms of interventions on cultural heritage or urban regeneration, particularly in the historic centers of small municipalities, with interventions and projects 'cut and sewn to measure', well suited to the characteristics of the various places, monuments or other forms of cultural heritage”. Specific attention will be paid to the various professions of art and culture, to their typical plurality, to the governance strategies of the material and immaterial cultural heritage, to territorial promotion actions and, therefore, to the varied sector of cultural policies and economies. Design and material culture, fashion, architecture; information and communication technologies and software (ICT), cinema, photography, publishing, archives, museums and libraries; taste industry, literature, artistic craftsmanship, cultural heritage, music and live entertainment are some of the main declinations of creativity and related works. There will also be a focus on creative and cultural enterprises awaiting the new national register of ICCs, "but also their clear and real recognition". The opening of the II Edition of RaRo Festival will be held next Tuesday, July 1st, at 8:30 pm in Piazza San Bernardino; the program will be presented by Rossella Del Prete, creator and scientific and artistic director, after the speeches of the mayor of Morcone, Luigi Ciarlo, and the councilor for Culture, Giulia Ocone. The overture of the 2025 edition will be entrusted to the Benevento Philharmonic Orchestra in the Juni version, conducted by maestro Letizia Vennarini: "70 young musicians will send a message of hope and true regeneration". Several events in the following days: on July 2, in the new headquarters of Confindustria in Benevento, a business networking event will be held between female entrepreneurs, female managers and scholars. The Rete Donna of Confindustria Benevento, the Comitato Femminile Plurale of Confindustria Salerno, the Gruppo Minerva of Federmanager, the Fondazione Bellisario, the Gender Observatory for Equal Opportunities of the University of Salerno and other expressions of female networks focused on the themes of empowerment and female leadership will find a space for discussion, knowledge and aggregation in the meeting promoted by the Women in Business project that Kinetès launched in 2015 and which is now shared with other national and foreign female networks. The entrepreneur Benedetta De Simone will be the testimonial of the event. Thus begin the “sartorial narratives” of the 2025 edition of the Festival. The meeting will also be attended by the Councilor for Professional Training of the Campania Region, Armida Filippelli, to whom the President of Kinetès, as well as of FIDAPA Business Professional Women of Benevento, Rossella Del Prete, will deliver the Leonesse Sannita Award that she was unable to collect last December 10 at the event promoted at the Teatro Comunale of Benevento. Among the themes explicitly linked to local economic development connected to creative work, the Festival will be divided into several panels dedicated to the theme of creative craftsmanship, the protection and urban regeneration of historic centers, cultural tourism in internal areas, cultural and creative enterprises.
