Events: Over 1,500 Neapolitan accountants at the 2025 Summer Party

"The Summer Party promoted by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Naples has become a must-attend event of the summer: a wonderful time to gather with colleagues, away from desks and deadlines. This sends a strong message: our community is increasingly united and central to the country's economy, thanks to the dedicated work carried out both nationally and locally. A meaningful dialogue has begun with the current government, demonstrating a renewed focus on our profession. We are experiencing a positive phase: challenges remain, but we are confident we can overcome them." These were the words of Elbano de Nuccio , president of the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, speaking at the "Summer Party 2025" organized by the Order and the Foundation of Neapolitan Accountants.
Over 1,500 people attended the evening held at the "Neasy" in Bagnoli, in a festive atmosphere, as Eraldo Turi , head of Naples' accountants, emphasized: "2025 is an important year for us, with many new developments in the professional field. We look forward with courage and with the aim of encouraging young people to enter the profession. Tonight we are experiencing an extraordinary celebration of love, friendship, and fellowship, fueled by the desire to be together."
Vincenzo Moretta , president of the Odcec Naples Foundation and promoter of the evening, is also very confident: "We're experiencing a year of strong growth for our profession. We're on the right path and are achieving important goals thanks to the commitment of the national president. A concrete example is provision '2407,' which finally defines the scope of the responsibilities of boards of statutory auditors: a turning point for the profession. After intense months of deadlines and obligations, it's wonderful to be together again and move forward together, always on the front lines alongside families and businesses."
The Summer Party is also a moment of concern for those less fortunate, as Fabio Cecere, Councilor Secretary of the Order, noted: "The summer party is the best way to close out the working season with our members. It's an event that combines conviviality and solidarity: like every year, the proceeds will go to charitable projects that support the growth of our city. It's an opportunity to get together, strengthen bonds, and reaffirm our professional community's social commitment."
The event's success was reiterated by Order Councilor Marilena Nasti : "The Order has been organizing this party for 25 years, and every time it's an extraordinary evening. We never tire of gathering together, at the end of an intense year of work and deadlines, sharing not only moments of joy but also a commitment that is particularly close to our hearts: charity. This year's event was enriched by the presence of so many friends and colleagues, with whom we will continue to carry out our professional and social mission."
According to Gianluca Battaglia, councilor of the Naples ODCEC (Order of Accountants and Accountants' Association), "Our professional category can make a decisive contribution to the city's development. We are present as key players, alongside institutions and businesses, and we sense the trust of the community we represent. We will continue to be inspired by the three principles that have characterized Naples for 2,500 years: development, solidarity, and growth."
The bond between members was highlighted by councilor Giuseppe Puttini : "We are a true family and, after an intense year of commitments, the best gift we can give each other is to spend time together, talking about ourselves and, for once, not about work."
Matteo De Lise , president of the Italian Association of Crisis Resolution Experts: "Accountants can continue to play a leading role in the transformation the city is experiencing. We've worked hard to secure and strengthen this role, making it increasingly relevant. An evening like this is a fitting recognition of our commitment and unity."
This concept was also reiterated by Arcangelo Sessa , auditor of the Naples Odcec: "It's always nice to share these festive moments with colleagues, spending a few hours of fun after a busy year of work and institutional commitments. Occasions like this allow us to 'recharge' our batteries for upcoming events."
