Then, every evening until Sunday the 31st, new settings await: the valley's iconic locations—from Romanesque churches to secluded villages—natural stages for the second edition of the " Choirs in Piuro and in Val Bregaglia " festival. "We have choirs from all over Italy and Switzerland," emphasizes Maestro Lorenzo Donati, artistic director and driving force behind the festival. "I am enthusiastic and grateful to the institutions that have supported us: together we demonstrate that choral singing can unite people, regions, and generations in an unforgettable experience." This enthusiasm is shared by the mayor of Piuro, Omar Iacomella: "Piuro and the province of Sondrio confirm their position as the beating heart of national choral singing." The competitive heart of the festival will take place over the weekend, with the preliminary rounds on Saturday the 30th from 5:00 pm at the new church of Borgonuovo, followed at 9:00 pm by the special concert by the UT Insieme Vocale-Consonante.
