Aquafan, music among the waves: DJs perform from the slides

Riccione, August 6, 2025 – Entertainment is changing shape. And it's starting with water. It's happening at Aquafan in Riccione , where a new project kicks off tomorrow, designed to combine music, technology, and movement in a unique format: Beat Night , the first experience where DJs perform directly from the slides . The event is part of a special edition of The Long Sunset : the park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with slides open until 11:00 p.m.

But the heart of the day comes after sunset , when the energy is concentrated in the aquatic facilities and the music takes over the park . Beat Night was born in collaboration with AlphaTheta Pioneer, a world leader in the production of DJ consoles and instruments . The real innovation lies in the wireless and completely waterproof consoles , accompanied by water-resistant speakers.

The young DJs from the Rimini Deejay Academy take to their stations and play among the slides, illuminated by strobe lights, special effects, and water features. The audience participates in motion: sliding while dancing, dancing while sliding. Every curve becomes rhythm . Every slide, a multisensory experience.

The special day begins at 6 pm with another unprecedented event: the world's largest Shower Party , in the Wave Pool. Four stations shoot jets of water from above while a giant screen displays the lyrics to the songs. People dance as if they were in the shower , sing along, and actively participate. It's a collective, simple, and liberating moment.

The event will be repeated on August 21st at 6 pm , at the same location. At 7 pm, the Walkyfan format will bring to the Walky Cup stage two names much loved by Generation Z: Luk3, a young singer launched by Amici , born in 2003, with a pop sound and R&B influences, and Random, an urban artist and singer-songwriter with long-standing ties to the city of Riccione.

Aquafan's summer , however, doesn't stop there. The musical calendar is punctuated by Maxibon Music Wave, the daytime festival that brings the most popular young artists to the stage. The next guests are: Boro next Monday, Sarah Toscano (winner of Amici 2024) on Tuesday, and Mida, fresh from Sanremo Giovani 2022, on August 19th.

All events take place in the Wave Pool in the afternoon (2.30 pm).
