Drones, a new show, thrills... We visited this beloved French amusement park for its 30th anniversary.

Drones, an immersive show, and even more thrills: this popular amusement park is pulling out all the stops for its 30th anniversary!

It's one of France's favorite theme parks, and one of the largest in Europe, covering 202 hectares, an area the size of Monaco! This year, it's celebrating its 30th anniversary in style with new shows, renovated sets, and unbeatable prices: expect to pay from €33/day for a two-day/two-park pass for the 2025 season.

This famous theme park is PortAventura , the flagship of entertainment and family tourism in Catalonia. Just an hour from Barcelona and 10 minutes from the beaches of the Costa Dorada, the resort has already won over 14 million French people eager for thrills, sun, and a change of scenery in its six themed "worlds."

Since its inauguration in 1995, PortAventura has benefited from significant investments—a reported €1.8 billion—propelling it to the forefront of European theme parks. It thus acquired a water park in 2002, followed by a park dedicated to the world of Ferrari in 2017—the famous Ferrari Land—while also expanding its hotel offerings around six themed establishments.

Three decades is worth celebrating. The park has pulled out all the stops for this anniversary season, blending new features with nostalgia. On the program: a revamped parade with new floats, a nighttime drone show, and an immersive spectacle called A Fascinating Journey that will take you through the park's various sections, from the Far West to Polynesia, via Imperial China.

Not forgetting the park's flagship attractions: Dragon Khan and its 8 loops with inversions, Shambalha and its dizzying fall (78 m), or "Uncharted: The Enigma of Penance", a 25 million euro dark ride inspired by the famous video game franchise. Even more epic, Red Force, in the Ferrari Land park, propels you at 180 km/h up to 112 m high... Extreme sensations guaranteed!

A great deal for those celebrating their 30th birthday this year: PortAventura is offering free admission and discounts for your loved ones! Simply fill out the form available here before April 28th, although the ticket can be used until the end of the year.
