The realization of a vision: the Jean Louis Noisiez Heart Institute will open its doors in less than a year in Saint-Laurent-du-Var

It will open its doors in a year, after several years of planning, design, and construction. An ambitious project driven by a collective desire for medical excellence, public service, and innovation. The Jean Louis Noisiez Heart Institute, a vast medical-surgical cardiology center, welcomed a large audience on Monday, June 16, to witness the signing of an exclusive 10-year partnership with Siemens Healthineers, the medical equipment branch of Siemens. Concluded for a period of 10 years and worth €22.7 million, this partnership, entitled "JL Noisiez Cardiovascular Imaging," marks a decisive step in the implementation of the large-scale medical project, which will be launched in the second half of 2026.
An institute that lives up to a visionBehind this monumental 22,500m² project, estimated to cost €110 million, are two key figures: Dr. Jean-Marie Salvadori, President of the Association les Amis de la Transfusion, a non-profit organization supporting the Arnault Tzanck Institute, and Jean Louis Noisiez, entrepreneur and founder of the now-defunct GSF (Groupe Service France). A committed philanthropist, the latter had long anticipated the transfer of his commitment through the creation of the Jean Louis Noisiez Foundation, supported by the Trevise capital structure. The latter provides financial support for healthcare projects, guaranteeing their sustainability. As Lionel Yvant, president of the foundation, recalled: "Jean Louis Noisiez did not want a passive foundation or one that would run out of steam over time. He had an entrepreneurial vision of the common good and wanted to create a sustainable model for concrete projects accessible to all."
The Heart Institute stands out first and foremost for its values: all practitioners are salaried employees and have agreed to waive excess fees. This rarity places the institution within a truly accessible healthcare approach, true to the associative ethos of its founders.
Another unique feature: the opening of its technical platform to practitioners from the department's public hospitals. This collaborative approach was praised by the Regional Health Agency, represented at the inauguration by Romain Alexandre: "This center of excellence, unique in France, paves the way for a regional cardiology program that is integrated, modern, and focused on innovation and cooperation."
A state-of-the-art medical-technical centerThe Jean Louis Noisiez Institute has nothing to envy from the largest European institutions. With three operating theaters, two hybrid rooms equipped with imaging robots, a 28-box critical care unit, diagnostic radiology services, and a state-of-the-art photonic scanner, the facility aims to establish itself as a benchmark in interventional and surgical cardiology.
The ten-year technology partnership with Siemens Healthineers exemplifies this ambition. This unique contract in France provides for the continued integration of the most advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and robotics. "This is a pioneering commitment to serving patients. This will enable us to continually adapt our tools to the most effective practices," emphasized a Siemens representative.
An eco-responsible building designed for patients and caregiversDesigned down to the smallest detail to combine comfort, performance and humanity, the building also includes a cafeteria, a terrace, several conference rooms, convivial spaces, as well as a structured reception area to streamline the patient journey.
The whole thing is strategically located in the heart of the metropolis, in the immediate vicinity of the tramway, the SNCF train station and the airport.
Michel Salvadori, Director General of the Arnault Tzanck Institute, emphasized: "This is where we will bring together medical, technical, and human expertise in a single location, designed to promote interdisciplinarity, responsiveness, and quality of care."
A territorial prideThe opening of the Jean Louis Noisiez Heart Institute has sparked enthusiasm among local elected officials. Mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Deputy President of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area, Joseph Segura, hailed the project as "a European institution."
The event brought together doctors, elected officials, funders, public and private partners, all unanimous in welcoming a project that combines medical ambition, ethical rigor and public utility.
