Pollutant concentrations remain relatively low this Thursday, July 31, in Lyon and throughout the Lyon metropolitan area.
Despite the return of sunshine this Thursday and seasonal warmth, air quality in Lyon and the greater Lyon area will remain good to average. " The weather will be similar to yesterday, with conditions sufficiently dispersive to limit the rise in ozone concentrations, " explains Atmo, the air quality observatory in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Thus, except around major traffic routes, such as the M6 and M7, air quality will be good in the Lyon metropolitan area, and average in terms of ozone and multi-pollutants.
