Pollution in Lyon: Air quality still relatively good this Friday

Air quality will remain relatively good in Lyon and throughout the Lyon metropolitan area, thanks in particular to favorable conditions which will limit the formation of ozone.

To conclude this new summer week, the air quality in Lyon and the Lyon metropolitan area is still relatively clear. This Friday, August 1st, Atmo classifies the entire Lyon region with good to average air quality, thanks in particular to mixed weather that will help maintain current conditions.

Thus, apart from multi-pollutants and ozone, classified as average by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes air quality observatory, fine particles, nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide will be present in very small quantities in the air of the Lyon metropolitan area.
