Meuse. Closure of the Bar-le-Duc cancer screening center: Senator Menonville writes to Minister Neuder

Senator for the Meuse, Franck Menonville , reacts "to the reorganization of the Regional Cancer Screening Coordination Center (CRCDC) Grand Est, resulting in the closure of the Bar-le-Duc center." A matter to which he draws the attention of Yannick Neuder , Minister Delegate to the Minister of Labor, Health, Solidarity and Families, responsible for Health and Access to Care.
"As of January 1, 2024, the Health Insurance would no longer fund the CRCDC Grand Est since it would have resumed sending out screening invitations for various cancers," writes the Meuse parliamentarian. "In a context of difficult access to care in rural areas, particularly in Meuse, this announcement of the closure of the CRCDC branch raises serious concerns among professionals and residents. This local center is crucial, on the one hand, for the early detection of cancers and, on the other hand, to enable rapid patient care," contextualizes Franck Menonville.
He concludes by asking the minister to kindly "examine this situation by maintaining, as far as possible, this tool essential to the health of the people of Meuse, who are faced with a very limited medical demographic."
