Does your baby have reflux? Colic? Are you a new parent or a parent-to-be? Then join us on Monday, June 23, at 10 a.m., at the Châtillon-sur-Seine health center. "The idea for this workshop came from a survey of my pregnant or mothering patients," explains Caroline Caetano, a dietitian in Châtillon-sur-Seine. "Many of them wanted to learn more about weaning babies."

By surveying other healthcare professionals, including midwives, the dietitian realized that many of them also have questions about a baby's first days, hence the idea of launching this workshop open to all to discuss "and especially exchange" around the first 1,000 days. "And thus have answers from professionals to all the questions we may have and that we often don't have the time or opportunity to ask during traditional consultations," she adds.

"It's also an opportunity for new parents in the area to meet and talk," continues Agathe Mignard, coordinator of the health center. "Often, you can feel alone in the first moments with a baby. This is an opportunity to talk with other parents who may be going through the same thing."

Since its opening in April 2023, the health center has attracted several professionals , and the coordinator occasionally organizes activities during prevention days for patients attending the facility. "Given the theme, we wanted to open it to all Châtillon residents," explains Agathe Mignard. "For the moment, we have few registrations, so they (registrations, editor's note) are still open, and it is possible to bring your child. We will dedicate a corner for them in the room where the exchange will take place."

First 1,000 Days Workshop, Monday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Free, register at [email protected].
