He sang Modiano, in a gray raincoat from behind, "Deauville sans Trintignant" or "La Vie Varda". The man who was bombarded with the role of standard-bearer of the new French song from his debut in 2002, is now 48 years old and, while elegantly playing with the passing of time, is now trying his hand, between two albums, at other art forms – theater, photography or cinema. For the release of "La Fresque", the eighth stage of his discography, he delicately draws his geography of the intimate.
Sooner or later"I arrived there in 2002. I dreamed of joining this label, which included artists like Lhasa, Thomas Fersen, and Franck Monnet. Since I'm now one of the old guard, I allowed myself to mention his name in a song. I've only known one record company, which is quite rare. I'd like to stay there. Apparently, the desire is mutual."
