The open-air film festival will be launched this Thursday in Old Lyon

The launch evening of the "Cinéma Vieux-Lyon Festival" will be held on Thursday, June 26 in the courtyard of the Palais Saint-Jean (4th arrondissement) in Lyon.
The first edition of the "Cinéma Vieux-Lyon Festival" will be launched on Thursday, June 26th in the courtyard of the Palais Saint-Jean. For the occasion, Bertrand Tavernier's film The Watchmaker of Saint-Paul will be screened from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This is a way to highlight the 4th arrondissement and the Saint-Paul neighborhood where the film was shot in the 1970s. Organized by the ARGAYA association, the event is free and open to all, with no reservation required.
The rest of the festival will be held from July 19 to 23. The films on the bill for these five free evenings include: Simone: Journey of the Century by Olivier Dahan, The Commitments by Alan Parker, Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders, Life is Beautiful by Roberto Benigni and All About My Mother by Pedro Almodovar.
