The free traveling Espigoule Déboule festival is taking place in Ginasservis and then in Le Beausset

Inspired by the cult film Les 4 saisons d'Espigoule directed in 1999 by Christian Philibert, the traveling Espigoule Déboule festival returns to cheerfully disrupt our villages to put Provençal culture in the spotlight. Aimed at all ages, this free festival promises a rich program rooted in the cultural scene and local terroir. Film screenings, children's workshops, traditional balls, cooking competitions, exhibitions and meetings will celebrate the heritage and contemporary facets of the popular culture of Provence. Enough to rediscover, for a weekend, the colorful characters of Christian Philibert's film and its own mythology, since the festival has fun adapting the Phacomochère in its own way, and of course plans events around the Provençal language.
Two weekends, two emblematic villagesFrom July 11th to 12th, the festival will be held in the main square of Ginasservis, as well as at the bowling alley and the wedding hall. The opening night on Friday will feature several concerts by local artists and an open-air screening of the film Les 4 saisons d'Espigoule . Among the many activities on offer on Saturday, don't miss the traditional balèti, the aioli competition (reservation required), or La Nuit du Phacomochère , a big electro evening.
The festival will then take place in Le Beausset from July 18th to 19th. After the opening concerts on Friday, you can enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, a banquet and a Provençal market on Saturday, along with lectures and screenings, as well as demonstrations of local skills. To round off these two sparkling weekends in style, La Nuit du Phacomochère will return to have you dancing under the stars.
