With events gaining visibility, the MJC de Saint-Avold is seeing an increase in attendance for the 2024-2025 season, although membership numbers are down. An update on the organization's health with the president and director, Sylvie Klein-Subtil and Paul Chaya.

▶ Fewer members but increased attendance. This is its little paradox. The MJC lost around a hundred members (890 in 2023-2024 compared to 790 this season), but its events attracted a larger audience with nearly 9,000 people across all events combined.

This development doesn't worry director Paul Chaya: "The number of members is no longer the benchmark indicator of the relevance of our projects," he believes.
