Patrick Sébastien show in Alpes-Maritimes cancelled after on-stage fellatio scandal

It was his only date in the Alpes-Maritimes. On Friday, August 8, Patrick Sébastien was due to perform on stage at the Humour et Danse theatre festival in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin , to celebrate his 50th career anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the festival he sponsored.
His show was canceled a few days after the scandal broke out in Cap d'Agde (Hérault).
According to revelations from Mediapart , a spectator allegedly performed fellatio on the 71-year-old comedian during a concert at a naturist campsite on July 22, in front of a family audience.
A "mimed scene" defended the former TV presenter, explaining that he was unaware of the presence of minors in the room and blaming "this woman who was part of the audience" .
Since then, information and videos of the "show" have been circulating in the media and on social networks.
"Technical" reasons put forwardOn Friday, August 8, Patrick Sébastien was supposed to present his show Hommages et desserts to close the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin theater festival. An "original, funny, moving" one-man show mixing original songs (and not bawdy ones) and imitations of his idols: Coluche, Bourvil, De Funès, Nougaro, Gainsbourg... But the announcement of the event was removed from the city's website, two days after the Mediapart revelations.
Contacted, Chantal Martino, the president of the Châtelains et Saltimbanques association which organizes the festival, confirmed that she had canceled the artist, but "for technical and logistical reasons." A press release should be sent out in the coming days supporting this... sanitized version.
The festival's management is currently working on refund arrangements for the many spectators who had booked tickets. The event will therefore close this Sunday, August 3, at the Parc des Oliviers, with a musical about Cyrano de Bergerac produced by Directo Prod and Gil Marsalla. A far cry from the controversies at Cap... d'Agde.
