A hypersensitive person who asks himself tons of questions. A hard worker who devours current events for the sake of his art. Thibaut Soulcié is a press cartoonist. His mission? To succeed in making people smile and think with just a few strokes of his pencil. He has created a comic strip that tells the story of the realities of the profession.

He warned: "Call me whenever you want, but not on Mondays." In his latest comic strip, "In the Mind of a Press Cartoonist," Thibaut Soulcié lifts the veil on this weekly impediment. He draws himself on a Monday, at the end of his tether, trying to take a step back from hyper-anxiety-inducing news. "I compress the news from Sunday to Tuesday. I isolate myself. I read as many articles as possible. I have to find a topic, topics, draw, send proposals to the editorial staff. On those days, I'm on edge; you mustn't talk to me." Soulcié draws for l'Est Républicain, le Républicain Lorrain, Vosges Matin, Télérama too, l'Équipe, Mediapart, and Marianne, among others. He gorges himself on news and digests it in a few sketches.
