It is born, lives, and dies in space and time. Ephemeral and volatile, dance has long sought to capture its steps and journeys, its gestures and flights of fancy. The exhibition "Choreographies. Drawing, Dancing" highlights a wide variety of works produced by dancers and choreographers.

Is this a botanical plate detailing the petals of an exotic flower? And there a little-known form of hieroglyphics? There again a strange caterpillar wriggling across the page? The labels corresponding to these mysterious drawings solve the enigma. No flower but the "templates" traced by Lucinda Childs for her ballet Melody Excerpt in 1977. As for the hieroglyphics, they were invented by Lenio Kaklea during the creation of Arranged by date in 2012. Finally, the caterpillar follows the curves and movements imagined by Carolyn Carlson in Undici Onde in 1981...
