Every work of art is unique. Over time, depending on where they are displayed or stored, they can deteriorate due to humidity, light, weather, or accidents. To prevent them from disappearing from the heritage or deteriorating completely, they must be restored. Repaired, cleaned, or consolidated to retain or regain all their brilliance. This is what the Regional Center for the Restoration and Conservation of Works of Art (CRRCOA) has been doing for 40 years now, a unique institution in Burgundy Franche-Comté with a worldwide reputation for its various specialties.
