Harley-Davidsons roar again in Saint-Tropez for the Euro Festival

The Euro Festival, Europe's largest gathering of motorcycles, including the latest electric models, welcomes 40,000 bikers to the seaside all weekend long. A mix of parades and explosive shows.
By Diane AndrésyBikers have been waiting for it for six years. After a hiatus due to Covid, lockdown, and accommodation issues, the Euro Harley-Davidson Festival is returning to the Saint-Tropez peninsula (Var) this year, and that's no small feat for Josianne and Hervé. "Riding the roads of the Côte d'Azur, you have to admit, is still better than the landscapes of the East, where we come from, and which we know by heart!" As a couple, they booked this long May weekend to indulge in their shared passion: motorcycling.
Until Sunday, Europe's largest Harley gathering will be revving its engines at the Camping de la Plage in Port Grimaud, which can accommodate thousands of bikers. As soon as it opened Thursday morning, traffic jams were already forming on the small coastal road, in a very summery atmosphere: loud music, bandanas around their necks, and leathers bearing the logos of the various clubs. Forty thousand bikers will be setting up their bikes and tents for four days of partying in the sun.
