Everyday heroes on display on the Allées de la Liberté in Cannes

Presented on the Allées de la Liberté, the free exhibition "Cannois civiques" features nineteen large-format portraits of residents awarded the Palme du civisme. Produced in black and white, in a style inspired by Studio Harcourt, the photographs are accompanied by testimonials illustrating the civic values of each winner.
Tribute to exemplary actionsCreated in 2017, the Palmes du Civisme (Civic Palms) reward exemplary actions: rescues, community involvement, acts of solidarity, citizen alerts, etc. Among the winners: Pascal, who saved a man from drowning; Marius, 6, who called for help for his grandmother; and Anne, who is committed to the environment. This initiative is part of a municipal strategy to combat incivility, launched in 2014. It is based on prevention, repression, and the promotion of civic engagement.
